Making a Game in Unity 017: Smoothing Movement

Making a game in Unity 017

It’s been a while since I posted the last devlog—I’ve been pretty busy, in large part with starting a YouTube channel. I just uploaded the first devlog in video form yesterday, and I’ll probably continue doing so, meaning these written updates will be a thing of the past.

I’ll keep posting here on my blog whenever I upload another devlog, but if you’re interested in other content that I produce, please consider subscribing. I’m planning to upload videos on a variety of programming related topics, including Unity tutorials, networking tutorials, devlogs, 3D modelling, and more.

I’d also like to delve into personal finance in the near future, as that’s a topic that I find highly interesting, and in my opinion it isn’t talked about enough.

Anyways, here’s the video about smoothing movement and adding UDP support to the networking solution. If you enjoy it, please make sure to leave a like, and feel free to leave any suggestions or feedback regarding either the game or the video itself in the comments!

As always, if you’re interested in more videos like this, leave a like (it really helps out the YouTube algorithm), and consider subscribing. Also, come check out the Discord server where you can share your progress, ask for help, and hang out with other game developers.
